The benefits of flexibility and speed used in prêt-à-porter are transferred to the Made to Measure service on an industrial scale but with the ability to offer an almost infinite range of options and made to the highest specifications in the factory that makes Armani Collezioni.

Suits - There are three base styles of jacket in the Armani Collezioni Made to Measure collection.  The Professional Line features a more tailored shoulder.  The Trend line is a more modern, more fitted, high-button style, with a peaked lapel.  The New Soft line features a softer, more natural, rounded shoulder.  The jacket is proportioned, available with a possible 32 modifications, and bears all the hallmarks of the Armani style.  Clients are offered a choice of 150 fabrics including super fine wools, wool crepes, silks and linens – divided into two groups: classics and seasonal fabrics.  They can also choose linings and buttons.  Trousers can be pleated or flat front.  Other trouser details help to ensure longer life (reinforced jet pockets) or are there to add character (button flies).

Shirts - There is also a made to measure service for shirts, which operates along similar lines.  Customers get to choose a fit from samples, and then select fabrics, collar styles, buttons, cuff styles and different shirtfronts and yokes.  As a finishing touch, customers can have their initials embroidered on to the shirtfront.

Service – The customer will be shown through a series of samples in a simple crepe fabric, and these will form the basis of the new design.  The customer selects the shape he likes best, and is then measures and pinned to get an accurate fit.  Then fabrics, linings and buttons are selected, and any changes to pocket styles/positions, and other requested alterations to the basic sample style are noted.  Thirty days later, the customer returns to collect his Made to Measure garment.  The Armani Collezioni Made to Measure service has been designed to involve minimum fuss, and deliver the best product possible within the shortest practical time.

All Armani Collezioni Made to Measure jackets carry a personalised label featuring the customer’s name, concealed the inside breast pocket.  This also confirms that Armani Collezioni Made to Measure is made exclusively in Italy.
